This burger is the definition of a mediocre burger. All burger raters were consistent in this feeling, with an overall score of 5.90 and the most alignment on rater scores that we've had so far in this small sample of burger meet. The veggie burger, the Farmer's Market, was well received, with a tangy patty and toppings of avocado and mole sauce which added a nice smoky flavor. The ambience of the place was very nice. Lots of outdoor seating, which was kid and dog friendly (it is Lakeview after all), and lots of TVs make it easy to watch a game. People would return for those aspects before returning for the burger. The Burger: 5.90 Bun: 5.5 The bun was pretty standard, with some noticing it got soggy quickly. Patty: 5.5 You could only order the patty as medium-well or well, and nearly all felt that theirs was overcooked. Bun to Meat Ratio: 6.5 The two patties meant there was good meat in the center of the sandwich, but the patties did not cover the entire bun. Standard Toppings: 5.5 The toppings were lacking. The lettuce and tomato were so small you could barely find them on the burger. There were lots of shaved onions that most felt were too many and overwhelming (though one rater enjoyed that). Sides: 7.2 Fries and tater tots. Taste: 6.0 The overall taste had a high score of 7 and low score of 4...just very average. Accuracy: 8.3 Value: 6.2 The price for the burger was decent enough, but you had to pay extra for cheese or any sides, which could build up the price. Service: 6.3 Returnability: 6.3 The Farmer's Market: 7.3 Bun: 7 Patty: 7 Bun to Patty Ratio: 6 Standard Toppings: 8 Sides: 6 Taste: 7 Accuracy: 10 Value: 9 Service: 7 Returnability: 8 Want to see how The Backyard ranks?
